Sugar is as sweet as her name! She came into our care after being found tied to a pole in Charlotte during the January snowstorm and has been soaking up love ever since. She has a gentle, affectionate personality with a playful side and loves being near her people. Whether she’s lounging or happily greeting you at the door, she just wants to be part of the family. She loves playing fetch and wants to please she does great for recall in an unfenced yard and comes immediately when called !

Potty trained: Yes
Leash trained: Working on it she loves walks but still pulls some and she is very strong.
Basic commands: She knows sit , stay and down. She is very trainable.
Good With
• Dogs: great with dogs of all sizes small and large (slow intros always best)
• Cats: Unknown
• Kids: Older kids preferred at least 10 and up. She is a big girl and can get excited and is still working on her manners.
Ideal Home
Sugar would thrive in a loving home that can continue working with her and give her consistency and patience. environment with no kiddos or older kids would be best for her. She would do great with someone who is home often and can give her the attention and reassurance she deserves.
