Nadine is a small girl with quite the spicy personality. She looks like a mini German shepherd. Don’t ask us how that happens! She came to us, deemed rescue only, from the local shelter due to her being so scared. She would hide under the bed and cower down when anyone would try to take her out.
She also had pyometra when she was at the shelter. Poor girl has been through a lot. She is spayed and UTD on her vaccines. She would do best in a home with no kids as she does like her space and boundaries. She does well with other small dogs, and we have not seen her around large dogs. She loves to have her belly rubbed and be picked up but does not like a leash or collar put on.
She is coming out of her shell more every day and will need a patient and respectful adopter that is willing to work with her boundaries and nervousness.

He may do well with another respectful dog after slow introductions, but he has shown some signs of resource guarding, so structure and supervision around food, treats, and high-value items will be important. Older kids would be best so they can respect his space and let him come around at his own pace.

Hi! I’m a sweet boy with a really big heart, and my favorite thing is being close to my people. I LOVE cuddles and just being involved in whatever you’re doing. I LOVE to run, play, and have fun! Fetch is my absolute favorite game, so I’d love a home with a fenced yard or plenty of space where I can zoom around safely. I don’t enjoy being outside alone though — I really just want my people nearby to play with me and spend time together! I get along well with cats and enjoy playing with other dogs, although I can get a little excited when meeting new furry friends at first. I also love going on walks, and my foster mom and dad have been helping me practice my leash manners every day.
