ICY is a great dog. He is high energy — he loves to run and play! He is a great guard dog! He alerts to everything before anyone and even any other dog hears. Icy has a little quirk that will make you just melt! When he runs, he kind of hops. You will fall in love with his unique way of running. Some things will scare him and he will take off running to find a safe place like his crate or under a table.
Training & Manners
Crate trained: Yes but he prefers to be free!
Potty trained: Almost! he has rare accidents if he is excited.
Leash trained: Not yet
Basic commands: He understands some basics commands like "No!". We are working on others.
Good With
• Dogs: Yes -Icy has been amazing with the foster’s 2 dogs. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs. He will roll around with dogs for hours!
• Cats: Unknown
• Kids: Yes - Currently in a foster home with four teenaged children. He is still a puppy and loves everyone he has met. Does nibble due to being a puppy.
Ideal Home
Icy would love a very active and adventurous family or a fenced in yard so he can run and sniff all over! He has been great when left out for a few hours alone. He doesn’t need a home where there is always someone there, but he does sleep beside his people while they are busy at their desk.
