Blue is the sweetest couch potato. His ideal day is being near his person, taking a nice leisurely walk or two, napping in the sun, and chewing on a good stick. His favorite activities involve seeing how many snacks he can convince you to give him in a day and de-squeaking a stuffy with surgical precision.

Ideal Home
Blue’s ideal home is with someone who loves a couch cuddle and where he won’t be home alone too long. While he’s a super holder and non destructive when left out, he definitely prefers knowing where his person is. He’s up for any activity, but is also just as happy sleeping all day. He would be fine in an apartment (as long as it’s first floor or has an elevator), but he does really enjoy rolling around in the grass and zooming around the yard if one is available. He’s fine with all other animals he’s met to-date, and is respectful of his current Foster’s disrespectful cats (slow intros always recommended though). Blue is slow to warm up to some men.

Blue is the perfect blend of chill, well-trained, older gentleman, and silly goofy puppy. He’s the best dog for someone looking for a companion who is not interested in the puppy stages. He knows all basic commands, is easy and non-reactive on a leash, loves to snuggle (but waits to be invited on to furniture), and enjoys throwing & chasing his toys.
