About Me
Blaze has really been through it— he was in and out of the shelter system many times, including the most recent which was due to an injury. The family could not care for him and decided to do what was best. Once at the shelter, it was determined he’d need his leg amputated. The shelter has limited resources and had to wait for a traveling vet to come in and do the procedure. We stepped in and got it done sooner so he no longer had to wait. He has been the best boy and so deserving of his true forever family.

Blaze would love a home where he could play with others and then snuggle up for cuddles—someone who doesn’t mind a Velcro dog. Loves lounging on the couch. Very low maintenance.

Blaze is not only the definition of resilient but he is a true gem. He has the cutest puppy dog eyes, he gets so happy to see you even if you just left for 5 mins. Blaze has the cutest wiggle butt when he wags his tail and he genuinely just wants to snuggle and be loved on all day. Doesn’t need any other dogs or toys to make him happy, just wants to be with his person. Doesn’t bark. Just howls at sirens.
