Whitney
Whitney was used for breeding and then dumped behind a church in Charlotte. She was severely emaciated and had puppies within four weeks of being dumped. Poor girl was trapped by ACC and rescued by Country Acres. She came out of the shelter sweet as can be. Two hours post shelter freedom, she was rushed to the ER vet suffering from GDV. Surgery was performed and she was discharged from the ER 24 hours ahead of schedule due to her incredible resilience. Whitney has not been interested in other dogs, and appears dog friendly. She is a large gal and needs to gain some healthy weight. She is working through separation anxiety at her current foster home; but how can we blame her? She was used and abused and then dumped like trash. Can you show her that humans aren’t all bad and they can truly love a dog FOREVER? Adopt Whitney!

Mostly crate trained (barks a bit at first)
