❄️ Lucy — 4-year-old GSD/Husky Mix (Currently unadoptable)
Lucy was surrendered 2 days before giving birth, and got a deadline for being protective over her puppies rightfully so.
She was our first pull from Charlotte ACC, with her 3-day-old babies. She trusted us quickly, raised her pups beautifully, and they were adopted at 9 weeks.
She’s now experiencing heavy motherly hormones and trauma from everything she’s been through. She isn’t comfortable with new people yet, so we’re giving her the chance she deserves:
📅 Lucy goes to board-and-train January 2nd for a month to help her heal and hopefully become adoptable.
Her puppies — S’mores, Fudge, Brownie, and Oreo, are all thriving in forever homes because of their incredible mama. Now it’s her turn. 🤍
